A Case for All-In-One Machines

Printers and machines that are capable of doing more than one task, i.e. the so-called "all-in-one" models, are very versatile and useful products to own for both normal household use and office use. In most cases, they can do more than one thing at a time. This awesome feature makes doing your work all the more easier.

These copier machines can do more than just make copies; they can fax information to other people, print out documents and images, scan items to be printed out or stored in the PC or the onboard memory, just to name a few. And, copy machines can do all of these things at a relatively quick speed, which is great for office work.

Offices should have a machine that does all of the aforementioned things because it saves a lot of money, time, and office space to have this many features on one machine. Sure, one can argue that separate machines that perform different functions can serve more than one person at a time, but that does not outweigh the inherent advantage of having a single all-in-one machine at your disposal. Small businesses that are run out of one or two rooms would certainly appreciate one machine doing all the work of several. This means more room to work instead of trying to cram several machines into a tiny room. This also removes any associated overhead related to having separate photocopying machines, faxing machines, and so on. Such overhead can include several printer cartridges, power strips to connect so many devices, and cleaning supplies.

A single all-in-one machine that does so many things is much cheaper than buying as many as three or four machines that each do something different. What business wants to spend all that money? Easy answer: none of them do. Businesses save a lot of money going this route.

All-in-one machines are great for home use as well. For home business or everyday use, these machines will help you work in a small area. While a business may have the luxury of space, your home does not. Besides, it is doubtful that you need to use your copy machine in such a high capacity big businesses do, so just using the one machine on occasion is fine. This can save a lot of money on supplies for the machine and you do not have to keep it on all the time.
