Established web design companies often charge more, but guarantee satisfaction. Beware cut-rate, fly-by-night operations offering steep discounts, the end result may not be worth it.
4. Where will I host my website?
You've finally learned how to make a website or paid to have one made and now you'll need to put it on the web. Websites occupy space on special computers which are always on and always connected to the internet, called servers. Getting your website hosted will require you to rent server space from a web hosting company. These companies will charge you monthly or yearly, depending on your website's specific needs. Some one-stop-shop companies even offer bundles to register, design, and host your website for a set rate.
Having your own website can be exciting and rewarding, but expect to invest a significant amount of time, money, or both to get the perfect website.
