How To Care For Your Mobile Phone

Some people don't care for their mobile phones enough. There are some times that we get too careless with out mobile phones that they get dropped, banged around, scratched, exposed to heat and moisture, etc and other things that can be detrimental for our phones. We should treat our phones as we would our other valuables, our phones are important to us right? So here are some tips in which you can start to do when it comes to caring for your phone.

1. Protect your mobile phone. There are different casings for phones, there must be at least one that will fit your phone. From soft rubber casings to hard leather casings. To avoid your phone from getting scratches and dents from being shuffled and stuffed in your bag then buy a casing.

2. Avoid dropping your phone. Dropping your phone or slamming it can cause minor to major damages on your phone. This is true especially when a phone gets dropped repeatedly, you can get a busted monitor or worse, the insides of your phone may get disconnected and the wiring can go haywire. Carefully lay your phone on flat surfaces, avoid placing them on edges; don't place it on chairs where people may accidentally sit on it. Avoid placing your phones in your pocket, in your jeans or those phone straps on the belt.

3. Don't place your phone near extreme temperatures, heat or cold. Mobile phones can be sensitive to extreme temperatures. So avoid leaving them in out your car, under the sun or even in cold weather.

4. Keep your phone away from damp areas and moisture. Moisture can ruin your phone, so keep your phone away from ALL sorts of liquids. The phone battery will get affected most, there are some manufacturers that mark the inside of the phone; which is found behind the battery which will turn color if exposed to dampness.

5. Never use spray bottles to clean your phone since the moisture could get inside the small areas. Use a cotton swab and dip it in alcohol when cleaning your phone and removing dirt from it. Avoid the areas that contain the charging port or other interiors.

6. Protect your phone from theft. Treat your phones as it was any of your other valuables. Don't leave it in your car, don't place it above the public bathroom sink even if you are there; do not leave it unattended when you are in restaurants, do not let a child hold your phone in public and other precautions.

7. Enable security features. There are many phones that have security features, those included are keypad locks, password codes, etc. Review your phone's manual and check if when cases of theft happens, you can shut your phone out, lock it or enable security so the thief can't use them.

Those are just the preventive measures and some tips to help you keep your phone as good as new. Cellphones are part of our daily lives, that is why we should always keep them in a good state. You should treat your phone as any of your valuables. Care for them so that they will still be used for a long time.
