Use Bumper Stickers to Put You In Front of Your Competition

We know that bumper stickers go on the back bumper of the car, but these cute stickers can help put you in front of your competition! Many small and large businesses look for inexpensive ways to advertise their products and services, and bumper stickers are a great choice. You'll find them used for lots of different industries and niches. Best of all, customers have fun with them; some even have dozens of them on their car, using them as a fun way to make their vehicle look unique and special.

Try our methods to help put you a step or two ahead of your competition:

Use these stickers for a specific product, service or purpose. Remember that on bumper stickers, your space is limited. You'll need to keep your promotions "short and sweet" as the popular saying goes. Some of the most successful ones are focused on one particular product, service or goal. Think of your current needs and decide what would be best addressed with the bumper sticker campaign.

Who will your bumper sticker appeal to? One of the most fun things about doing this sticker campaign is that they are loved by the young and the young at heart alike. You'll find new teen drivers, seniors and everyone in between eager to pick one up. Now some do appeal to many ages, but probably you'll find success if you target your campaign to your ideal market, which may have a specific age group. If your new product is used by women aged 25 to 55, and then target your campaign to this age group.

Make it easy to read. Some who decide to create a bumper sticker actually neglect this, and it negates their entire goal. Your sticker needs to be fun and eye-catching - and something that just about anyone can read from a quick moving bumper! The best choice is using a large font that isn't too fancy. Try Times New Roman, Ariel or Courier for some classic choices. Bumper stickers come in every color of the rainbow, but some color combinations are just easier to read than others. Don't use day glo colors, while you'd think they get attention, they actually can be more difficult to read as a font color or even used as a background color. Using one bright color and a dark color, one for the background and the other as the font color seems to be the ideal choice.

How will you know it's been successful? This is easier than you'd think. If you've put your business telephone number for people to call, you can ask "How did you hear about us?" People may say, "I read about you on a bumper sticker." If you put your website URL, you can ask the question when people order, even offering them a free gift or a discount on their order. Another great way to tell is simply to see if that product or service becomes more popular. You'll see an uprise in interest and sales, a strong sign that your bumper sticker is getting great results.
