Many businesses like to celebrate the holiday season by giving holiday gifts, and Frank's Lumber is no different. But Mr. Frank has a unique hobby, he makes red wine. He's been making red wine for years, his father taught him and his father's father taught him. It's an old family tradition, a very proud one. So Mr. Frank has always liked to give a bottle of his finest red wine to his best customers and vendors to say Happy New Year.
Mr. Frank's daughter gave him the biggest surprise this holiday season, with Custom Wine Labels. He'd never seen them before. They looked so polished and professional, with Frank's Lumber and "Happy New Year 2012" on them. A photo of the immediate Frank family was underneath the writing. They were perfect. "How did you make these? On the computer?" Mr. Frank asked. His daughter shook her head. "No, Dad. I ordered them on the computer. You can order Custom Wine Labels. They'll make them any way you like them. Don't they look great?" Mr. Frank nodded. They looked terrific. Best of all, he didn't have to write out more than a hundred personalized tags to attach to the wine bottles. That was always so time consuming. Now the Frank family could just attach the labels and they were ready to give out.
It was a very Happy New Year for the Frank family as they delivered the red wine. Everyone loved it. "I'll serve this tonight at dinner" people would say. "Did you have this professionally bottled?" one customer asked. "My daughter did it," Mr. Frank said. "She had the labels made." He was so proud of her. His daughter always had the best ideas. She was always so good on the computer. Mr. Frank didn't like the computer very much, especially that Internet people liked so much. But his daughter, his daughter really seemed to know what she was doing.
On New Year's Eve the Frank family sat down to dinner with their bottle of red wine. They'd saved a bottle or two for their family table. "Its delicious Dad," his son said. Dad smiled. "It looks good too!" his wife said. The family laughed. They raised their glasses and toasted 2012 for happiness and success for their family and Frank's Lumber.
Thinking of ordering Custom Wine Labels? You'll have successful results if you follow these tips:
Choose an easy to read font. Yes, you can choose a calligraphy or other fancy font, but remember to make the words large enough to read. Great fonts to select are Georgia, Times New Roman and Ariel.
Pick a color scheme that is easy on the eyes. You don't have to be a decorator or artist to pick a pleasing color scheme. Just remember to choose two to four complimenting colors that are pleasing to the eye. Ideally one of those colors should "pop" out and draw attention. Another color, a darker color usually, will be used for the font (words).
Be picky about your images. It is fun to use images in Custom Wine Labels but be selective. Remember this is a small space to add an image to, so finer details simply wont show up as they would in a large 8 x 10 photo. Choose a photo or image that is suited for a small space, and consider having your art department or a freelance artist polish up the image before adding it to your Custom Wine Labels, it can sometimes make a great difference.
