When my brother and I began our auto transport business, we needed to get a couple of car haulers in order to really do the job we wanted people to hire us for. We had gotten a larger car carrier that could carry five cars at once, but many of our new clients had expensive cars and did not want them to be exposed to the elements while being carried to their destination. This meant that we wanted a couple of the covered trailers that would keep cars enclosed and safe.
We decided to go back to the manufacturer that we had gone to get our trailers, but unfortunately they did not have anything that we wanted. We thanked them courteously, but left the store having no clue about where we would be able to find what we needed. While we were trying to decide what to do, we got a call from a client who wanted his Corvette moved from Portland to Las Vegas, which meant we needed to get our car haulers right away.
We next looked in the online classifieds, just to see if there was anything out there that would work for us, but there was nothing, which was not very shocking to us. Then, my brother just had a moment of inspiration and did a Google search for trailers for sale and found a truly fantastic website that had dozens of great trailers available.
They had a great selection, they offered box trailers and most significantly for us, they had the enclosed trailers that we needed in order to provide excellent care for our clients cars. We noticed that there were some that looked perfect and they were not that far away, so we determined to drive out and take a look. We were feeling optimistic about it, so my brother and I both drove our own trucks with a trailer hitch, so that if they worked out, we would be able to buy them and drive them home right away.
When we got there, the trailers were exactly as advertised and we could tell that they were well built and would last for many years of normal wear and tear from the road. But the thing that I really liked about it was that we would now be able to transport our client's luxury cars in safety, which was really going to help our business grow. We bought the trailers on the spot and we were absolutely ecstatic as we drove them back to our office, all set for our lucrative transport to Las Vegas.
