How To Change Your Nitto Tires In Case Of An Emergency

Every person to ever own or operate a vehicle for very long will eventually experience what it's like to have a flat tire and need to have it changed, even if their car is equipped with Nitto tires or any other high quality brand. Since it is practically inevitable that they will all have to handle this sort of situation, it is a very good idea for each and every motorist to learn how to properly change a tire, so that they never end up stranded alongside a busy interstate or a long stretch of empty highway.

In all honesty, changing out a tire might sound like it is hard but it really quite simple. Instead of participating in a course in mechanics, all you need to do is learn a few simple steps and remember them for when the time comes that you have to put them into practice.

The only real thing you have to do to be able to change a tire is gather the few essential tools you will need and place them in your vehicle so that they will be there for that unlikely moment that you need them. You never know when a blowout or flat will occur, so the only way to be prepared is to keep a car jack, a lug wrench, and a spare tire in your vehicle at all times.

Now, imagine that you are driving down the road and all of a sudden you notice a pop and a loud grumbling noise, indicating that you've just experienced a blowout. For the sake of safety, the first thing you need to do is pull your car as far off the road as you can and on the most even spot you can find.

Once you are parked, get your jack and jack the car up by its frame, as near as you can get it to the damaged tire, and stop before the tire actually leaves the ground. Get your lug wrench and loosen each one of the lug nuts that are holding the tire on the axis. After you have them loose, finish jacking the car up to give yourself enough room to work; then you can take off the lug nuts and make the switch to the spare.

Of course, the next step is pretty simple, just do all of the above in reverse sequence. Using these easy directions, switching out your Nitto tires should prove to be a rather simple task.
