Aster Homes Unveils Smart New Apartments Near Bristol City Centre

This weekend sees the grand opening of Bristol's high-specification Lakeshore development from Aster Homes - a unique collection of eco-apartments sitting over their own lake, less than four miles from the city centre. On Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April, homebuyers hoping to find a property in the area will be able to take a look around Lakeshore and its stylish one- and two-bedroom apartments any time between 10.00am and 4.00pm on both days. The opening weekend will also offer potential buyers the chance to find out about Aster's shared ownership scheme, where a 25% share in a property can be secured for as little as £27,500, and various other special offers and incentives that are only on offer to people visiting during the launch weekend.

Built on the site of the former Imperial Tobacco headquarters in the residential suburb of Bishopsworth, these striking new homes in Bristol are housed in a Grade II-listed steel-framed building. It is nestled in a quiet spot on a ten-acre site incorporating landscaped gardens and a lake - yet is within easy striking distance of all the businesses, entertainment venues and shops of busy Bristol city centre.

"We think our homes at Lakeshore offer great value and we're sure they'll be snapped up very quickly," says Head of Sales Amy Mackay. "These shared ownership properties could give someone a chance to buy a share in a home they may not otherwise be able to afford. Buying a home here offers the chance to live in a beautiful location, surrounded by private gardens, allotments and fruit orchards. With a secure parking space included in the price, we're confident there'll be a great deal of interest in the development."

Lakeshore is also well placed for a range of convenient transport links, with Parson Street and Bedminster stations nearby offering quick connections to the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads, and the M4, M5 and M32 motorways just a short drive away. With the local area also offering a good range of leisure facilities and a choice of schools for all ages, Lakeshore looks set to prove popular with first-time buyers, professional couples and even young families - and the first property has already been reserved.

There are two styles of both the one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments to choose from, and all Lakeshore residents will enjoy capped service charges - which means they can be sure of their exact outgoings.

Amy Mackay adds: "Lakeshore could make the perfect home for a wide range of people, from someone looking to get a foot on the property ladder for the first time, or for a small family needing extra room. With the city centre so close by and fantastic transport links, it's in the ideal location for anyone working in Bristol, or those who commute further afield. It's a great place to live where something's always happening."
