Where Do Retiree Jobs Bloom?

Retiree jobs are sprouting up all over the economic landscape!

The local hardware store has them, the nearby bank has lots of them, the advertising company downtown, the auto dealership at the shopping center, the manufacturing business in the next block…and the list grows on.

Are you a retiree looking for employment opportunities? If you fall into this category then you're probably scratching your head as to where to start your search.

We're not talking about a way to just fill your days and while away your time daydreaming about more fulfillment and income.

We are describing solid, big time employment that will erase many of the financial gaps springing up in your retirement years.

Are you worrying about the vulnerability of Social Security and Medicare? Are doubts about your present and future healthcare keeping you awake at night?

Are you quizzing yourself about what skills you have that would convince a business to offer you employment over anybody else…even the neighbor's dog?

I'll let you in on the answer to those doubts!

You have something of such value that empires have been destroyed for the lack of it!

Wars have been fought and lost because it was never in evidence, and lives have been sacrificed because it was not taken into account during the planning of actions taken!

You, my friend, and all other senior citizen job seekers are the repositories of proven, hands on, well earned insightful experience!

You may not even suspect this, but do you have any idea of its value and need in the modern workplace?

Consider a business that was forced to shift gears in the production of an in house designed product.

What if it lacked employees capable of understanding and adapting to the necessary changes of action on almost a moments notice.

Do you believe you could handle that because something very similar to it happened in your own work experience?

What if a big retail store deemed it necessary to stave of bankruptcy by shifting its sales focus onto a brand new line of goods.

But, what if it did not have employees on staff possessing the experience necessary to change presentations and acquire insightful knowledge about using the products?

Could you rise to answering this situation because you went through, or studied, almost the very same problem in the past?

Have you ever heard about the small sales office that found itself in the attractive position of acquiring a massive increase in business almost over night?

The staff was inundated, and their outdated techniques and computer equipment became hopelessly useless overnight.

A retiree, in a nearby retirement home, read about it in the newspaper and phoned the president of the company and offered to show him the answer to his dilemma.

That senior citizen, and several of his friends at the retirement home, both men and women, had spent most of their business lives in sales and office procedures.

They helped the company through the design of a new computer program and system.

The company's president hired all of them on the spot.

This happened because the retiree was observant of events and proactive in taking advantage of the situation.

This isn't a rare happening! Events like this happen every day in this massive economy we are all a part of.

Don't allow the present downward spiral in the economy to dim your view of events happening in the world around you!

Be proactive! Don't wait for someone out of the blue to offer you a job!

List your experiences and training on a sheet of paper. Keep your eyes open on what is happening in business organizations all around you.

When you come across a potential senior job that is tailor made for you and your experience and skills…move on it!

Do you know that a major league baseball player only has to hit safely three times out of ten times at bat…and he is an acclaimed superstar!

Believe in yourself and in your abilities…

Become your very own superstar!
