The choices in designs styles, and colors seem to almost go on forever and what will for sure catch your eye is the faux tile work in them. It's not printed on but rather "molded in" so the tiles themselves and even the "slightly rough" grout lines have an amazingly realistic look and "feel" to them. Go ahead and run your hand over them to check out how they feel just like "real ceramic tiles".
Even so, it is an above ground pool, so you might be thinking that in the end it all will somehow look fake. The simple answer here is not if it is "done right" and it all begins with curved coving underlayment on the pools bottom edges to give it a nice rounded look. Then on the top end, a full 360 degree prefabricated deck covers the top edge and sides, so all that is left for the eye to take in is decking, water, and tile.
Add a few strategically placed bushy plants in the ground around the outer edges and the look is complete. The "exact same" look and effect of a standard built in swimming pool, only with one huge difference. That is that the one in your backyard cost you tens of thousands of dollars less to install than if you would have gone with conventional cement built in.
Now if you have youngsters in your home, or even adults who are young at heart, you really need to check out the "crazy fun" tropical lagoon and coral reef above ground pool liners. Words just can't do them justice. Also just like the tile liners all the artwork is molded right in during the manufacturing process. Same multi-colored glossy effect though. Only the time you get to see your pool covered with amazingly realistic sea life.
In the end though, what's so amazing, is that it doesn't cost a whole lot more to transform a standard pool into something real special with these new product developments. Even going with a prefabbed natural wood deck is in fact cheaper than having one built from scratch. Then after you finish with all the customizing, it's time to check out what's new in the way of pool toys.
